Wanted - Details of Early Charts of the South West
"Thank you- I am trying to write a carto-bibliography of the early (pre-Admiralty) charts of the South West from Portland Bill to Bristol. And though I know of many early ones I had not appreciated that Collins produced any before the manuscripts (at Taunton) to be engraved for the GB pilot. Nor until now did I know that he had written a log or journal. Find me another and I shall be even more grateful." From Francis Bennett

Dear Francis i am currently researching the River Severn from Sharpness to Gloucester and would be very intrested to know were i can obtain an early chart of the region, do you have any info?
