BSOBH in 1931

My deceased father, Fernley Robert "Jack" Shobrook attended BSOBH in 1931, after the early demise of his father.

He remained there until he went to RSH... and from there into the Navy... at the tender age of 15 1/2. He was aboard HMS Charybdis when it was sunk by u-boats Oct 1943.

I am trying to learn as much about his life and experiences as possible.

I am hoping somebody who knew him as a lad and while he was in the Navy will respond.
