Capt.Kidd & the Princess Elizabeth packet.

I am a little confused regarding the date mentioned of when Capt. Kidd was captain of the Princess Elizabeth. I am referring to the sentence stating he was commander of the packet Princess Elizabeth in October 1802. Wasn't he around in the late 1600's and early 1700's? As my 2xgreat grandmother was born (1826) on the Princess Elizabeth built 1805 I would like to find out what the facts are.

The infamous pirate Captain William Kidd, born circa 1645 was executed in 1701. He cannot therefore be the same man as Captain Kidd of the packet Princess Elizabeth in 1802.
