Help required on plans for Morgan Giles Monaco 48
From On behalf of Urich, Bandol, France 18/7/2005
We met a gentleman named Urich whilst sailing in the South of France. He recently bought a Morgan Giles Monaco 48 (no. 778 year 1963) but he has never owned a boat before and doesn't have any plans to help him renovate or better understand the workings. We said we would try to help once we got back to the UK. I have sent him Ken Springall's e-mail address but if anyone knows of a club, association or any enthusiasts who could help him please get in touch at: jcojw@aol.com
Many thanks - Angela Harding

I know its nearly 3 years late, but I believe that Teignmouth Museum holds the plans for the Monaco and many more MG boats besides. When the yard closed they were offered whatever was in the drawing office

my father built the Monaco cruisers. If you approach www.teignmuseum.org.uk they hold most of the plans of morgan giles boats. If you have no joy, please get back to me on www.michelle-morgan-giles@blueyonder.co.uk and I will dig through my past to see if I have any details, mostly I do, but I'm not sure about 48 footers
