The Darby
Members who attended the Brockweir meeting last year will recall Adam Giffard talking about his trow conversion project. He updates us as follows:
"I am still working on an ownership structure for Darby to take forward the concept of an MCA licensed 12 passenger ketch rigged vessel with the general character of a late 19th century trow. Stefan and I are making a presentation at the Lydney Yacht Club at the end of March. They have expressed an interest in basing Darby there and Lydney was certainly a trow port. I am very reluctant to sell the hull away to the Thames for a live-aboard conversion and the Lydney opportunity is the best bet to avoid that fate."
