Salcombe Cannon/Bronze age site

The work of the South West Maritime Archaeological Group (SWMAG) reached the national press recently, and represents a major achievement, the wreck being described as the "bulk carrier of the Bronze Age".

Work by the SWMAG in 2009 recovered the largest single collection of Bronze Age copper ingots in the UK - land or maritime - and probably Europe.
